Landlord here with a 2194 sq. ft. 3-bedroom 2.5 bath single family rental home in Punta Gorda, FL. After 3 years, Tenants moved out the end of May 2018 leaving not only carpet stains; but, ‘carpet burns’ and badly soiled tile and grout. So fortunate to have located Superior Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning, Inc; and, so extremely impressed with not only owner Bill Comber’s knowledge and willingness to educate me on both carpet and tile/grout restoration. but, also his integrity to ‘Do the Right Thing’ and not just sell ‘more product’.
As for the tile and grout disaster, who would have thought that the badly discolored dirty grout would ever be able to be ‘resurrected’ back to its original color; but, Omg it happened! However, with the top layer of the grout damaged due to tenants’ extremely inappropriate attempt to clean, Mr. Comber ethically suggested NOT to seal the grout. Sealing the grout would have put more money in Mr. Comber’s pocket when he walked out of the door; but, it would not have been ethically correct!
In closing, my new tenants are elated with both the carpet and tile/grout cleaning since they had viewed the home before while the home was still occupied by the previous tenants. Mr. Comber was kind enough to recommend a common everyday inexpensive easily available product to mop and correctly clean the tile and grout. My tenants are so appreciative, as I am, and plan to follow though.
